WITH reference to the story ‘In 10 years, 23,000 teen pregnancies’ published on the front page of April 19, 2015 edition, the Health Promotion Centre (HPC) clarified that the number of teen pregnancies stated in HPC Medical Officer Dr Hjh Norol-Ehsan Hj Abd Hamid’s presentation was inadvertently written.

The number of teen pregnancies recorded from 2004 to 2013 stood at 3,405, and not as previously stated.
