THE Information Department at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) yesterday held a mass Maghrib and Isya’ prayers to commemorate its 63 years of establishment.

Present at the ceremony at the Suri seri Begawan Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque in Kg Manggis Madang was the Permanent Secretary (Media and Cabinet) at the PMO Hj Md Rozan Dato Paduka Hj Md Yunos and the Acting Director of Information Department Mawardi Hj Mohammad.

The event started with the mass maghrib and Sunat Hajat prayer led by the mosque officer Imam Hj Jofri Hj Abidin followed by tahlil recitation and thanksgiving prayer.

The event also saw Hj Md Rozan and Mawardi handing over endowments (wakaf) that comprised cabinets for Al-Quran storage, a white board and other essential iems for the mosque to one of the mosque officers, Imam Nuzli Hj Jumat.
