Seria theft suspect nabbed

THE Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) have managed to apprehend a local for allegedly stealing $2,330 worth of items the same day the theft was lodged.
RBPF in a statement yesterday said a report had been lodged on last Tuesday, 8am to the Seria police station about a break in and theft at STKRJ Seria. Later at 5pm that day, police were able to apprehend a 24-year-old local believed to be the perpetrator at his house, with all the stolen items - including two laptops, two watches and other jewelry – found and taken in by the police as evidence.
The 24-year-old will be brought before court today to face charges of theft.
