94 complete MTSSR’s youth village programme

A YOUTH village programme on religious and recreational activities organised by Sultan Saiful Rijal Technical College (MTSSR) yesterday ended with participants receiving certificates from the deputy minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
Datin Paduka Hjh Adina Othman, in presenting the certificates to the 94 participants from various religious schools nationwide said that the younger generation plays an important role in national development.
In order for the nation to maintain its peace and harmony in society, it is important that the youth possess ideal qualities such as “Religious, educated and optimistic.
She reminded the youth to uphold these values so as not to easily be influenced by negative elements in life which could lead to the destruction of their own identity.
MTSSR’s prayer Hall, Imam Hj Ashraf Hj Bujang echoed similar sentiments congratulating the youth on their active participation of the four day three night long programme during the school holiday.
The programme was the first initiative taken by the mosque committee of MTTSR’s prayer hall in collaboration with Narcotics Control Bureau (BKN) to commemorate the 31st National day of Brunei Darussalam.
