JENESYS 2.0 students end Brunei tour

A DELEGATION of 25 students and teachers from Japan has completed a week’s visit to the Sultanate as part of the JENESYS 2.0 programme.
The delegation who are from the Hachinohe Kodai-2 Senior High School (Aomori Prefecture) attached to the Hachinohe Institute of Technology concluded their visit after experiencing local society, history, culture and nature.
They were here to exchange viewpoints with Bruneian students and to understand the relationship between Japan and Brunei.
Members of the visiting delegation were presented with certificates of appreciation by the Director of Youth and Sports Hj Abd Malik Hj Mohammad in a ceremony yesterday.
Also present at the ceremony was the Ambassador of Japan, Noriko Iki.
As part of the students’ visit, they visited Brunei LNG (BLNG), Hana Soy & World, the Cosmopolitan College of Commerce & Technology, Kg Ayer, the Ulu Temburong National Park and other historical sites.
