THE Brunei Times would like to advise readers that it has not published any story on a cancellation of public exams for students.

An image of a news story supposedly published by this paper’s website with an apparently ‘photoshopped’ headline stating that all exams will be cancelled for this year was found circulating on social media yesterday.

The picture showed a government official conversing with students during a recent visit to the school with a fake headline.

The Brunei Times would like to clarify that no such article was published either in its print or online editions.

The Brunei Times would like readers to know that it is in no way responsible for the doctored image file and its content.
