22 RBPF personnel donate blood to mark anniversary

TWENTY-TWO police personnel donated blood yesterday at the Panaga Police Station in Belait as part of a nationwide campaign to mark their 94th anniversary.

The drive, which began at 9.30am and lasted two and half hours, was open to all personnel of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) and their families as well as members of the public.

Acting District Commanding Officer Supt Mohd Hadini Hj Othman was among those present to donate blood, which was collected by the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital’s Blood Donation Centre for its blood bank.

Most notable was 48-year-old Lance Corporal Kamaluddin Abdullah, who said it was his 47th time donating blood during his service with the RBPF which spans over 20 years.

Those who gave blood received a complimentary souvenir and food pack.
