A Ministry of Health statement said the price rate for parking varies with time and day.
Every Monday to Thursday and Saturday, those who park between 7am to 9pm will be charged 50 cents for every half an hour.
For those who park between 9pm to 7am, parking will only be charged $1 per entry.
Anytime of the day on Friday, Sunday and public holidays, parking will be $1 per entry.
The ministry also stated that the road leading to the hospital’s wards will become a one-way path.
“This is aimed to provide smoother traffic flow and reduce traffic congestion especially at the main entry to the hospital,” the statement read.
“The public are advised not to park their car at undesignated parking places, especially those that block the way to the Accident and Emergency Department.”
The MoH added the RIPAS Hospital shuttle bus will continue to operate as usual and the public are still encouraged to make use of the shuttle bus services.
The public are also advised to follow instructions given by safety officers on duty and always respect other drivers when exiting the hospital to the Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Highway.
