TRAFFIC Control and Investigation Department (JSKLL) and Land Transport Department (JPD) held an operation along the Sungai Tujoh road in Belait yesterday morning.

The operation, dubbed “Operasi Bersepadu” aimed to ensure the safety of road users so as to increase their awareness to comply with traffic safety and regulations.

A statement from JSKLL also mentioned that the operation was focused more on vehicle roadworthiness to ensure that all vehicles travelling on the roads are in good condition.

It added that road users were advised and reminded to drive carefully while on the road.

The operation was held from 9am to 11.45am.
