MoH holds Khatam Al-Quran, thanksgiving ceremony

THE Ministry of Health (MoH) held a Khatam Al-Quran together with a thanksgiving ceremony to mark the convocation of its first cohort of the Advanced Diploma in Health Management Services last night.

Present as the guest of honour was the Minister of Health, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Johan Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Haji Adanan Begawan Pehin Siraja Khatib Dato Seri Setia Haji Mohd Yusof.

The ceremony began with the recital of Surah Al-Fatihah led by the Health Minister himself, followed by the mass recital of the Quran by the graduates.

A Tahtim and a doa khatam was then read at by a representative of the advanced diploma graduates, accompanied by a Dikir Marhaban to further enliven the event.

Lecturers and facilitators involved in the Advanced Diploma in Health Management Services were also awarded certificates of appreciation as the conclusion of the ceremony.

Also present was the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health, Datin Paduka Dr Hjh Norlila Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Jalil, senior special duties officer, deputy permanent secretaries, officers and members of the MoH.
