A TWO-WEEK partial road closure is expected to take place along the Sungai Tutong Bridge beginning today.

According to a statement issued by the Public Works Department (PWD), the partial road closure is scheduled to continue until December 24 from 8.30 am to 6pm.

The closure is to make way for the contractors to install a steel pipe bridge across the Tutong river.

It is also to facilitate the installation of the new main pipe from Bukit Barun to the Brunei-Muara district, along the Tutong-Brunei Muara highway.

The PWD, in its statement, advised motorists making use of the road to exercise caution and obey the road signages along the construction area.

Members of the public and motorists are to call the department through the Darussalam Hotline at 123, should they have any complaints.
