BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN
ANOTHER drowning case was reported yesterday, the second within two days, after a 48-year-old woman was found dead in Pantai Seri Kenangan, Tutong.
The Tutong Police Station received a call regarding a body found at the beach at around 2:45pm.
The police statement added that the body was taken to the Duli Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Hj Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital (DPMMPM HAMB Hospital) to determine the cause of the drowning while initial investigation found no trace of foul play.

A statement from the police said that the incident happened at around 5pm, and a previous statement from the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports said that the pool was not open to the public at the time.
The RBPF reminds the public to be careful while having recreational activities with family members and to ensure that children are constantly monitored while undergoing such activities. The public should also make sure that the location they chose to have the activities is safe and secure.
If any emergency situation occurs or if the public witnesses anyone acting suspiciously, the police urge the public to contact the emergency hotline at 993 or any police station that is located nearby.
