HIS Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, yesterday morning met with the outgoing US Ambassador to Brunei, Daniel Shields, as well as the newly appointed High Commissioner of India to Brunei, Dr Ashok Kumar Amrohi.

The meetings took place in two separate audiences granted by HRH the Crown Prince at Qashr Al-Meezaan yesterday starting with the outgoing US ambassador. The ambassador presented his Letter of Credence to His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on April 5, 2011.

HRH then received the newly appointed High Commissioner of India to Brunei Dr Ashok Kumar Amrohi. Dr Ashok presented his Letter of Credence to His Majesty on February 25. Previously, he served as the High Commissioner of India to Mozambique.
