THE newly-appointed South Korean ambassador Cho Won Myung made an introductory call on the Deputy Minister of Defence yesterday.

He met with Dato Paduka Hj Mustappa Hj Sirat at the Ministry of Defence’s (MinDef) Bolkiah Garrison, according to a statement from the Ministry of Defence.

The statement further said the ambassador expressed his gratitude to the deputy minister for his warm welcome and looked forward to a wonderful stay and working experience here.

The ambassador recently presented his letter of credence to His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, on November 24, 2014 at Istana Nurul Iman.
