THE Acting Minister of Education, Dato Seri Setia Hj Yusoff Hj Ismail, yesterday hosted the Early Childhood Care and Education International Conference Dinner Ceremony for the delegates at the Terindak D’Polo Restaurant, Jerudong Park and Polo Country Club.

Several cultural performances were showcased by various colleges, institutions, government and private schools, while various local artistes had also joined in to serenade the delegates.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Education, the dinner was held to welcome and celebrate both the national and international working paper presenters along with the participants, who have worked hard in making the conference a success.

The Early Childhood Care and Education International Conference is being held in Brunei at the Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali until November the 30th, with the theme “First Steps to Nurturing Future Leaders”.

The ceremony was also attended by the Permanent Secretary of MoE (Core Education) Dr Hj Junaidi Hj Abd Rahman along with other senior officers and staff of the MoE.
