BRUNEI will celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) on January 3, 2015 starting at 7am with Sultan Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien field in the capital as the centre for the highlights of the gathering and parade.

Meanwhile, the national committee for the Maulidur Rasul (celebration for the Prophet’s (PBUH) birthday) gathering and procession are inviting teams from uniformed personnel, ministries and department, private sector companies, villages, youth and welfare associations as well as schools (religious, primary, secondary, colleges and higher educational institutions) to participate in the celebration.

Application forms for Brunei -Muara district will be available starting on November 10.

Forms can be obtained and submitted to the national committee for the Maulidur Rasul gathering and procession, Syiar Islam Dissemination Section, Level 2, Ministry of Religious Affairs.

Complete forms can also be faxed to 2382351 or email to syiar.islam@mora.gov.bn. Deadline for submission is on December 20 at 4pm. Forms for Belait, Tutong and Temburong can be obtained from and submitted to respective Religious Department.
