THE Ministry of Religious Affairs has opened registration for their Al-Quran and Muqaddam Reading Classes for children at every mosque, prayer halls or places of worship in the country.

According to a statement by the ministry, the classes will be held every Friday starting in January 2015 but only for children, six years old and above.

Registration forms can be obtained from the Liaison Teacher of the Al-Quran and Muqaddam Classes at any mosque, prayer halls or any places of worship throughout the country or from the Imarah Division at the Mosque Affairs Department.

Deadline for the submission of completed forms is on December 31 at 4pm.

Interested parties may contact Hj Abd Wahab Hj Tamin from the Imarah Division at 2233192 during office hours or at 7246737.
