Brunei set to welcome new Philippines defence attache

BRUNEI Darussalam will receive a new defence attache to the country from the Philippines.
The Deputy Minister of Defence yesterday expressed his congratulations to Colonel Ernest Marc P Rosal PA on his appointment as the new defence attache.
Meanwhile, Dato Paduka Hj Mustappa Hj Sirat yesterday received a farewell call from the outgoing Philippines defence attache, Colonel Carlos B Cepe, at the Bolkiah Garrison.
According to the Ministry of Defence website, the deputy minister, during the visit, expressed his pleasure that both the countries share a cordial and active defence relationship with each other , and wished Colonel Cepe well.
Several visits were also made by the outgoing attache to the RBAF Commander, Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih Abdullah and Joint Force Commander, Colonel Hj Zainal Ariffin Dato Paduka Hj Ahmad.
