KOPERASI Berkat Kerjakaras Semua Sanang (BKSS) opened a new branch at Madang Complex, last month.

Speaking to The Brunei Times, Chairman of Koperasi BKSS, Hj Salleh Hj Mohiddin said that the cooperative offers the same items and services as the Koperasi BKSS at RIPAS Hospital which includes catering services for any occasion.

The majority of the staff are those who also managed RIPAS Hospital’s Koperasi. Its establishment also gave employment opportunities to local villagers.

Meanwhile, two new items have been added to the menu of the Koperasi BKSS at RIPAS Hospital which are flavoured smoothies and the traditional Bruneian pancake, tumpi.

, the smoothie flavours include chocolate, vanilla and orange, among others.

“Making efforts to improve and diversify the cooperative is a good step as the cooperative’s main aim is to increase profits which will then increase our dividends.”

He also encouraged the staff to give feedback and suggest new items to

the menu.

“We hope that the public will like the additions. If we get a good response, maybe we will add more (smoothie) flavours.”

The ceremony also saw the presentation of certificates to officers and staff of Koperasi BKSS who participated in a workshop on stored goods management procedures.The Brunei Times
