ALL Haj pilgrims enjoyed a safe “virus-free” pilgrimage with no report of Ebola or Corona virus, the Saudi Arabian Embassy said.

The Charge d’ Affaires of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Brunei Darussalam, Tariq Mohammed Ali Bahhah said in a statement: “We are pleased to announce that the holy rituals were all performed smoothly and all the Haj pilgrims enjoyed a safe and sound pilgrimage to the Holy Land.”

He added that the success of this year’s Haj season was due to the care of the different government authorities involved.

“The pilgrims have now started their return journey to their home countries. Radio and television interviews have also shown the pilgrims express their pleasure and satisfaction,” the statement said.

“Alhamdulillah Bruneian pilgrims will be returning on time without any harm,” he said.
