MORE than 200 job vacancies will be offered at the Brunei Mini Job Fair, which will be held at Pusat Insani in Seria on October 1.

A total of 15 companies are expected to participate in the two-day event from 9am to 4pm.

Job applicants were advised to bring their resumes and other related documents, as well as wear proper attire as there will be open interview sessions at the job fair, the first in Belait this year.

As the job fair is expected to draw large crowds, jobseekers who have yet to register with the Local Employment and Workforce Development Agency are advised to do so at the agency’s headquarters in the Ministry of Home Affairs building.

Alternatively, applicants can register at the Labour Department’s office in all four districts.

In addition, the agency will provide other services such as registration and renewal for APTK cards, registration of courses and career advice, guidance on writing effective curriculum vitae (CV) and a briefing on jobseekers’ rights as employees.

Organised by the Local Employment and Workforce Development Agency, the event will be launched by Belait District Officer Hj Haris Othman.
