A FAMILY of fire victims yesterday received a total of $3151.85 in donations from the Private Education Division under the Ministry of Education (MoE) at the division’s office.

It was previously reported that the family of three were among victims of the recent fire that blazed through homes in Kg Masin during Ramadhan in July.

Head of the family Roslan Hj Kalong received the donations yesterday from Assistant Director of the MoE Private Education Division Pg Othman Pg Mohd Daud.

According to a division representative, the monetary donations had been collected from various private education institutions in the country by the division.

The donations were one way of ensuring the welfare of Roslan’s daughter, five-year-old Nur Irdiana Aqeelah Roslan, who attends Riverside School in Kg Masin.
