HRH ends Singapore visit

HIS Royal Highness Prince Hj Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, yesterday departed Singapore, following the conclusion of his five-day official visit.

His Royal Highness was accompanied by Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah, His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Muntaqim and Her Royal Highness Princess Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah.

Earlier, His Royal Highness visited the Singapore Sports Hub and National Stadium.

The Crown Prince also listened to a briefing on Singapore’s preparations to host the Southeast Asian Games in 2015 by Chief (Strategic Development and Marketing Group) of Sports Singapore Toh Boon Yi.

HRH then attended a briefing from Urban Redevelopment Authority Director of Physical Planning Mark Goh on “Land Use Planning in Singapore: Master Plan 2004 and the Greater Southern Waterfront”.

Present at the Changi International Airport to bid farewell to Their Royal Highnesses were Singapore Minister for Communications and Information cum Minister-in-Charge of Muslim Affairs Associate Professor Dr Yaacob Ibrahim, Minister of State at the Ministry of National Development and Ministry of Defence cum Mayor of the South East District Dr Mohamad Maliki Osman; as well as the Singapore and Brunei envoys.

Prior to their departure, a doa selamat was read by Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Hj Hamidon Begawan Pehin Siraja Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Hj Abdul Hamid.

Their Royal Highnesses also received a pesambah (gift) in the form of a photo album commemorating their visit to Singapore.

Accompanying Their Royal Highnesses during the official visit were Minister of Development Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Hj Suyoi Hj Osman, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Dato Paduka Hj Ali Hj Apong, and Deputy Finance Minister Dato Paduka Hj Bahrin Abdullah.
