A BRUNEIAN teenager was found “lying motionless” at the water village’s Kampung Pekan Lama last Saturday, police said in a statement issued last night.

Police found the body of a 19-year-old following a call made on the evening of August 23, the statement read.

It added that they are currently investigating the case, classifying the cause as “unnatural death”, but preliminary investigations showed that no foul play is suspected.

The statement further said the death of the youth was confirmed by a pathologist, who was present at the scene during that time.

When contacted, the police spokesman declined to provide further details of the case.
