Brunei, UAE to set up joint panel for cooperation

BRUNEI and United Arab Emirates have agreed to create a Joint Committee for Cooperation.

His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, signed the agreement after attending the opening session of the Abu Dhabi Ascent yesterday.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, His Royal Highness held a bilateral meeting with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs to sign the agreement of creating the joint committee.

The Joint Committee for Cooperation aims to promote bilateral relations and develop cooperation in various areas of mutual interest, the statement added.
