Study scholarships for China now available

WITH a vision to further promote educational exchanges with Brunei, the Chinese government has announced that it will be offering four study scholarships to students in Brunei for the academic year 2014/ 2015.
A statement from the Chinese Embassy yesterday said that the scholarship will cover expenses such as registration, accommodation, tuition, living allowance, outpatient medical service and insurance.
Interested applicants who meet the requirements are advised to visit the China Scholarship Council’s (CSC’s) on line application website http://www.campuschina.org or http://www.csc.edu.cn/laihua.
Applicants are required to fill in the necessary forms online and submit two hard copy sets to the Chinese Embassy in Brunei Darussalam or the Ministry of Education of Brunei Darussalam.
Instructions for Students’ Online Application and Foreigner Physical Examination Form are also available on the site.
Closing date for applications is May 10.
