RISING 110 feet above the capital and measuring 12-foot by 24-foot a giant national flag was hoisted in a ceremony to mark the start of the 30th National Day celebrations.

The flag was hoisted by the Royal Brunei Navy in the open area of the Yayasan Shopping Complex. The pole stands in between the Sultan Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Mosque and Taman Hi Sir Omar 'Ali Saifuddien.
