THE Royal Brunei Technical Services (RBTS) has contributed $25.8 million in business activities for the past 25 years, its chief executive officer said yesterday.

Hjh Rosmawati Manaf said a large chunk of its business came from the procurement sector, with the Ministry of Defence as its biggest client followed by other security agencies.

RBTS will also be focusing towards sustainability, such as management of training schools for its clients, beginning with the Royal Brunei Navy, she said.

The chief executive officer was speaking during RBTS’s Silver Jubilee appreciation dinner at The Empire Hotel and Country Club last night.

“The time for RBTS’s Silver Jubilee is a time to look back and thank everyone within RBTS who have worked so hard to contribute towards its longevity and sustainability," she said.

RBTS celebrated its Silver Jubilee yesterday with an appreciateion dinner for its 107 employees.

The event also included the presentation of long service awards to 47 recipients who have been in service with RBTS from five to 25 years.

Present as guest of honour during the dinner was Deputy Chairman of RBTS Colonel (Rtd) Pg Dato Paduka Hj Azmansham Pg Hj Mohammad.

The appreciation dinner also saw a video montage of RBTS in its 25 years of business.
