INSTITUT Teknologi Brunei (ITB) on Thursday organised a religious talk held at its concourse hall to commemorate Maulidur Rasul.

Ustaz Hj Mohd Amin Hj Md Yassin, an invited speaker from the Islamic Da’wah Centre delivered the talk, a statement yesterday from ITB said.

During the lecture, he emphasised that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the last prophet in Islam and said that the faith of any Muslim is incomplete without love towards Allah SWT and the prophet.

The talk was preceded with the mass recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah.

Present as the guest of honour was Associate Professor Dr Hjh Zohrah Hj Sulaiman, acting vice chancellor of ITB. Also in attendance were the university’s principal officers, lecturers, staff and students.

The event concluded with the reading of a doa selamat by an ITB student.
