HRH arrives in KL on official visit

HIS Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah arrived in Kuala Lumpur, yesterday on a six-day official visit.

Accompanying them on the visit were His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Muntaqim and Her Royal Highness Princess Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah. Upon arriving at Subang Air Base, HRH the Crown Prince and HRH Princess Sarah were greeted by Dato Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussien, the Malaysian Minister of Defence, as the Minister in Attendance; and his wife, Datin Seri Tengku Marsilla Tengku Abdullah; Dato Hamzah Zainuddin, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia; Datuk Wan Hamidah Wan Ibrahim, Chief of Ceremony; Brigadier General Dato Hj Romlee Yahya, the Commander of Subang Air Base; and Dato Abdullah Sani Omar, the Undersecretary for Southeast Asia II.

Also present to greet the Crown Prince and Her Royal Highness was His Excellency Dato Paduka Hj Ishaaq Hj Abdullah, the High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam in Malaysia. The official visit will end on Wednesday.

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Her Royal Highness Princess Sarah and their prince and princess are scheduled to stay at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, where upon arrival they were greeted by Robert Dallimore, the hotel’s general manager.

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince performed Friday prayer at the National Mosque, Kuala Lumpur, where he was greeted by Tan Sri Dato Syaikh Hj Ismail Muhammad, the Imam Besar of the National Mosque.

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince also visited the Heroes’ Mausoleum or Makam Pahlawan, on the grounds of the National Mosque.

Accompanying him were Minister of Development YB Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Hj Suyoi Hj Osman and Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Dato Paduka Hj Ali Hj Apong.
