HRH calls on Singapore president

HIS Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, attended a special ceremony at the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs yesterday.

The special ceremony was hosted by the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS) in recognition of the 15th Brunei Darussalam-Singapore Exchange Visit. During the event, HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah’s book on the history of the ASEAN Ministerial Meeting titled _Association – A Part of the World No Longer Apart _published earlier this year was officially launched.

The launch was followed by a luncheon hosted by the institute in honour of the exchange visit.

HRH also called on Singapore President Dr Tony Tan Keng Yam at Istana followed by a tea reception attended by members of the Brunei and Singapore exchange visit delegations.

HRH and HRH Pg Anak Isteri Pg Anak Hjh Zariah later attended a dinner hosted by Singapore Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean, who is also the Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs, and his wife, Teo Poh Yim. Also attending the dinner was Dr Pg Muda Abdul Fattaah.
