A SECOND crocodile attack is feared to have claimed the life of a four-year-old boy in Tutong on Wednesday afternoon, two days after a similar incident took place in Belait District, Radio Televisyen Brunei reported last night.

Sharizan Anak Sumua was swimming with his father and two siblings, when a crocodile dragged him away.

The victim's father said he heard a sound similar to a boat engine and noticed his son was missing.

He said that he grabbed the crocodile, which swam past him. However, he was forced to let go as he was holding on to his youngest child and they were about to be pulled deeper into the water.

As of press time, search and rescue operations are still continuing. (ZAR1 & ASF1)
