TURN last season’s wardrobe into the latest du jour collection with casual ready-to-wear apparels from Butik Anggun Ayu.

Labelled under Anggun by Rico Rinaldi, this was revealed during a soft launching done by the store’s manager, Md Ishak Dzulkifli, and the Malaysian-based brand.

Patrons along with press members had the opportunity to view all five designs that were made up of long cardigans, tops matched with palazzo pants, pleated skirts as well as the signature Iqal skirt by the detail-oriented designer.

With a play of lines and layers, most ensembles are kept modest and come in limited pieces.

During an interview with The Brunei Times, Ishak shared that he decided to collaborate with Rico due to his uniqueness and ‘daring’ designs.

“It is different from most… You can go casual or semi-formal with the apparels,” he said. “He keeps it traditional, all the while thinking outside the box, as a way to cater to the young trendy crowd.”

Ishak also said that this was part of their rebranding initiative, to reintroduce their ready-to-wear garments and made-to-measure tailoring services.
