Baiduri Unveils Green Festival

It will be a lively weekend at the Jerudong Park Amphitheatre as the Baiduri Bank officially launched its Green Festival 2016 last night.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Baiduri Bank, Pierre Imhof, in his welcoming speech said the objectives of the event are to raise awareness on the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle and to support local businesses in the sultanate.

“The Green Festival is themed around holistic wellness encompassing your financial, physical, social and emotional well-being,” he said.

Present as the guest of honour who later launched the event was the Minister of Education, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Hj Suyoi Hj Osman.

Also in attendance were permanent secretaries, deputy permanent secretaries from various government ministries, representatives from local businesses as well as senior officials from the Baiduri Bank Group.

The three-day event will offer numerous family-friendly activities and workshops such as flower crown workshop to be conducted by The Collective and a football clinic by DPMM FC. Visitors will also be offered financial tips and advice from the Baiduri Bank Group staff to achieve financial wellness.

One of the most anticipated contests during the festival is the slogan writing on why early financial planning is important and visitors can stand a chance to win the grand prize, which is a three-day and two-nights trip to Bali for two persons.

Apart from the exclusive offers and promotions, live performances from local artistes, including Eia, Aziz Harun and Nabeela Fadzil are expected to entertain the crowd.
