THREE members of the media left for Kuala Lumpur yesterday courtesy of Tourism Malaysia for the launch of 1Malaysia Year End Sale.

The group — comprising a representative from The Brunei Times, Borneo Bulletin and See Hua Daily News — departed from Miri International Airport.

Present to send off the group at Miri International Aiport was Marketing Officer of Tourism Malaysia Brunei office Pg Hj Noorezamy Pg Hj Othman.

The launch of the 1Malaysia Year End Sale will take place at Freeport A’Famosa Outlet Village, Melaka, this Sunday.

The five-day trip is part of Malaysia’s Mega Familiarisation Programme (Mega Fam) trip. The trip will highlight the shopping areas that are frequented by Bruneian tourists.

For the first three days, the Brunei participants will visit and experience shopping at Evolve Concept Mall, Fahreinheit 88, Sogo KL and Sungei Wang Plaza, to name a few.

The group will also join other members of the Mega Fam trip at Freeport A’Famosa for other activities.
